Zach Whitecloud hit Matthew Nise in the head in an NHL game. The incident occurred 12:01 before the end of the second period of the Toronto-Vegas match (3:0). Leafs forward Matthew Nise was rolling with the puck when Golden Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud hit him in the chin. Nise fell onto the ice. After this, a brawl broke out on the court, as a result analyzed by hockey predictions of which Toronto defender Simon Benoit and Whitecloud were sent off for roughness.
The judges did not penalize Whitecloud for the hit against Nise. The Leafs forward left the court. The team announced that he suffered an upper body injury.
